Good summary of the poorly executed Ipod Link. Not worth the money, me thinks (and as has been reported here before).
I get by just fine with all the other choices with the Nav-version of the radio.
MP3 on CD, MP3 on SD-card, and a simple Ipod plug-in. It's all good to me.
