Unhappy Need HELP please....

Tonight when I was driving my car which is a 2007, the red brake light was on, the yellow "brake system" light was on and the green "D" was blinking. I will have had the car a yr. on 4-16 and it has just over 10,000 miles on it. Anyone with an idea of why it is doing this? How bad is this?

Thanks in advance.

I don't know about the brake system, but about 2 months ago I had the "D" light blink on my car and had to get a new Transmission. Luckily, factory warranty had to cover it.

Yes, you had better get it in soon, because Matt has the right idea. It says something along those lines in the manuel. H

Update: Took the car to the dealer today. They think the master cylinder (for the brakes????) is going out. Since it will be tomorrow at the earliest that I will get it back, they are arranging a rental car for me in the meantime since it is still under factory warranty. I wasn't expecting that to happen. Nice surprise.

Will update later when I know more. Thanks to Harold and Wick for answering. You guys were right, it needed to go in. I knew it did but was hoping someone knew what was wrong before I took it in.

Sherri

Well I hope that is all it is because I thought it may be the CVT going south. H
