Howdy-

Picked up my Mag Pearl HCHII two days ago, with 3 miles on it.

What a great car! So far I have put 150 miles on it, and am averaging 46.4 mpg, thanks in large part to the discussions and info on this forum.

Thanks for all the driving tips! I look forward to breaking 50 mpg!

Welcome to a great forum!!! Congrats on the new car, I bought my MagPearl in May and this morning she hit 10,000 miles. My last tank worked out to 55 mpg and my best 33 mile AM commute has been 64mpg two days in a row. This place is great for tips/advise/tech/etc/etc/etc.
Just work w/ the car and she'll do you right...

Congrats! I wanted the Magnetic Pearl, but the earliest I could get one was early September (I reserved mine at the end of July and got my Alabaster Silver 2 weeks ago). Waiting till September would have cost me nearly $200 in gas, which really wasn't worth the wait, or the time. Still, the silver finish is really nice, and it still has the blue / tan two tone interior, so I'm happy!
