Default picking up car this week, couple of ???

found this place just the other day, and the info here definitely played a major roll in my decision to purchase a HCHII's?

couple of questions though,

1. Does the car come with a spare tire?
2. does anyone sell a service manual for it?

Thanks for any and all replies....

Yes, it comes with a space-saver spare. There is some room all the way around the tire and there *may* be enough room for a full size spare. The first time I rotate my tires I am going to try it and see. Don't know about #2. The factory service manuals always seem much better than any aftermarket ones on every other car I've ever owned.

According to Shoebox303 on this thread, you can't fit a full sized spare in there:

Pity, I've always had full sized spares in my previous cars. I do have one question also. This is my first car with alloy rims, is it true they can't take much abuse? An SUV owner only noticed a flat halfway to work and just those few miles of driving ruined her rims such that she had to get a new one for alot of $$$.

.

Yes, in the owner's manual they tell you that you can buy a "service manual" from Helm for $75.00. Not sure if that's the exact same service manual as the Honda techs get or not - but it should be relatively useful. I haven't bought it so I can't answer any more than that. You can check them out at www.helminc.com

Here is the link directly to the Hybrid manual
