Default Selling: Block Heater

I recently ordered the engine block heater for my Civic. It didn't hit me till it came that I'm keeping the car inside for the winter so the heater would not have much of a bonus.

That and I wrongly assumed I could use the outlets where I park every week. I have a choice of 2 parking lots, both have outlets in specific places but after a trial on them I could not get any of the 8 outlets to work.

I ordered the heater from cheaphondaparts.com.

If anyone would like one the unit and its parts are still boxed with the official Honda certified parts label.
Exact # is 08T44-SNA-100

I'll take any offers if someone would like the unit. Thanks in advance.

I park inside at home but am still considering a block heater. It's barely fall here and I'm already starting to notice a mileage hit.

I wouldn't have the first idea how to go about installing it though...

They have it for $52.

Here's the link but there are no pics.

Does this sit on the garage floor or it it attached to the car?

The heater is installed inside the car. The plug is for power comes out of the lower grille on the car. The unit stays inside while you drive.

Honda can install because its a Honda genuine part.

Bumping my own thread

40.00 and shipping. Still in the little Honda parts box. Open to negotiation!

If you've still got it I'll take it! It gets chilly enough down here for a few months that I think I'd like to try this for MPG sake. Shoot me a PM if you still have it.
