anyone have experience selling the HCH or any other hybrids to them? What do they say in regards to the hybrid battery?

Default Re: selling to CarMax

You would be better off trading the car to a dealer. Carmax is there to make money on the resale of your car, without other sources of income so they will lowball you. 2 years ago I attempted to sell them mine, they offered $2000 less than I owed, and that was when the California carpool stickers where still active. I traded the car now and got $2000 more than I owed (but keep an eye on the other numbers, the dealer will get you) In my case they had added an extended warranty ($2000), and werent honoring several discounts. Once on the finance room I "got them" and had them remove all that extra $$... while keeping the trade in price intact, and had them add the other incentives too. So if you trade in, do not overlook the whole operation.
