Default Re: Is the tank in a HCHII 12.3 gallons?

Well, I checked my 2008 manual, and it does say 12.3 gallons, just as the 2007 says 13.2 gallons. I don't think Honda has a clue! I don't believe they changed the tank from 2007 to 2008. Our Odyssey was supposed to have a 21 gallon tank, but with some 20 miles to empty indicated, all I could squeeze in was 17.5 gallons. I suppose if you want to be adventurous, you can carry a gallon of gas, and let it run out to see how much the tank holds! The rest of us wn't worry that much about it-- I can still pretty much go 500 miles on a tank on the highway--unless I up the cruise to 80 MPH, of course!

One member here already did the "run it dry" thing. He posted the maximum capacity, but I don't remember exactly what it is.

I thought maybe it varied (either 12.3 or 13.2) based on certain STATEs.
