I thought I read once that the car has to be held for a min. of 3 or 4 years for the tax credit to be 100%. Otherwise a prorated amount would have to be refunded to the IRS. You might want to check with your accountant first.

I thought I read you can get the credit if you bought the car without the intension of selling it. Just don't gete audited!
