Default Tighten dead pedal?

Anyone know how to tighten the dead pedal? I tend to place a foot there in getting in and out (I'm 6'2 and I really try not to mark up the rocker panels or scuff the lower door pockets with my soles ) and it's a little wobbly now, only a couple of mm of play but I notice it.

Thanks.

I only have about 1000 miles on mine and have noticed that it is loose. I think if your remove the cap about 2/3 of the way down there is probably a bolt or nut under there.
I was thinking of removing mine (6'5") for leg room

My HCH is 2 months old and it was loose when i got it. I have been curious to see if there is a way to tighten it. I, too am trying not to scuff up the rocker panels and the door (although I still do) and I think that mine is starting to get looser.
