I actually traded in my 06 Civic Hybrid w/o NAV that I bought for $22K for $19.3K - I had it for 4 months and put on almost 16K miles on it. After federal and tax credits of $2600 (2100 fed + 500 state), that means it only depreciated $100.

Not too bad.

BTW, I wound up trading on a Full Size Crew Cab PU that I got for $3000 under invoice. My commute went from almost 170 miles/day down to under 12 miles/day. Figure I would give it up for someone else to use that would put more miles on it. I wasn't even going through a tank of gas in 2 months.
