I bought an '08 about 5 months ago. The truck is small only in comparison with a hatchback which I had last! But, it may just be a tad smaller than a sub-compact, and as others have commented, no additional space due to no-folding rear seatbacks. Too bad!

My sister has an '05 or '06. The restart of the engine is noticable, but my '08 is nice and quiet and no lurching (the fly-by-wire throttle is smooth). I surprise others by mentioning it because they don't notice! Really!

My motorcycle doesn't get as good mileage as my HCH!
