Default What did everyone pay for their 08s?

So I have a dealer that will sell $750 over invoice. Is this a decent price? It looks like $23312 for the base model with no options.

My car (for the most part):

sounds like invoice might have gone up since March when I bought mine. I paid about $23K with Nav

I got mine a year ago and it was $200 over dealer cost but I shopped around on the phone with all dealers in my part of the state.

I suppose now that gas is more......it is more difficult to make a deal like that.

I bought mine April 15 for $1000 under invoice $20,975. Of course that doesn't happen anymore from what I've been reading. If it's only $750 over, jump on it. I've seen people pay as much as a $3000 "Market Adjustment Fee" to get an HCHII.

Default hmmm, I paid list price.

I guess there's an advantage to living in 'downstate' Illinois: I got my 2009 TCH last week for list price. I had to wait 2 1/2 months for the delivery but I'm convinced that it will prove to be one of my better decisions. btw, I ordered a 'stock' TCH and was told right from the start that I would probably have to settle for a few things that I didn't want simply because Toyota found that they could sell all the hybrids they could build, no matter what accessories were on it. A month before delivery I was told that my camry would have a moon roof. That's a 900 dollar price jump but I said ok. 2 weeks before delivery, my salesman gave me a copy of the build/delivery sheet that goes to dealers and the moon roof was gone (yayyy!) but I would now have to pay for alloy wheels and the interior convenience group. That's about a 2100 dollar bump. (sigh) Anyway, when the car came, I paid list price with no extra dealer charges, and that's according to all the independent sources that I could find. With IL tax it came to $30,040.00. Ironically, that's 10 grand more than I paid for my first house!

Its Barcelona red, which is fine with me. The only color that I would have balked at would have been black. I've owned a black car in the past and it just got too hot in the summer.

The Barcelona red metallic is nice color. I like the way it looks and shines in the sun.

I haven't noticed my black TCH being any hotter than my silver 2000 Honda Accord. What I do notice is that it shows dirt and every little scratch and swirl more than any other color car I've ever owned. This is my first black car and I spend alot of time trying to keep it looking nice.

If you are interested, here is a link to pictures of it after it had a bath and polish.

I just got my 08 HCHII in Los Angeles. The 09s were in stock, so the dealers had incentive to make a deal. With NAV, I got mine for 22,815 (around 25,100 out the door). I think it's about 2-300 below invoice. I am happy with the deal!

by far i did the best. 20,294 plus ttl for mine.... i actually bought mine last year on halloween day.... and 07' with navi. The 08's were rolling out. If I were you I would start calling Norm Reeves Honda at the Cerritos Auto Square, or Honda World Downey. They are within 5 minutes of each other, and they are the number one and number two in volume in Southern California which is the car capitol of the world.
