Default Where's the Mobil 1 gone?

My first OC I switched to Mobil 1 0W-20 for my HCH II. Previously, it was readily available at Wal Mart. Now, I've checked several Wal Marts in the NW Chicago suburbs and not one has any in stock though I've been checking around for 2 weeks. Has anyone else found a merchant that stocks it readily? Ditto at Auto Zone, Murrays etc.

Try your local NAPA store or NAPA online, they may not have it in stock, but they can order it from their warehouse. That's where I got my last case.

Good idea to buy in bulk. When I was changing my own oil (pre-HCH), I'd get 2-3 cases whenever it was on sale. Given the high price & spotty availability of 0W20, getting as much as possible makes even more sense.

Will Wallymart order it for you if you ask?

I will try Napa today. I was looking for the oil at Autozone and Walmart over the weekend, and couldn't find any either.

"We'll call you when a case comes in." We'll see if that happens...

I saw 3 quarts in a Pep Boys sometime today while going to get an oil filter.

Yup, I ordered it from AutoBarn a few days ago as well. Should be here soon.

I have seen articles on the internet that Mobil has discontinued 0w-20 from their line of oils. Is this true? Or did they do this a long time ago, and have now started making it again? Just trying to figure this out because all of the dates they were posted are old.

Checked Wally yesterday and this was the only grade sold out on the shelf. There may be some OW-20 hoarding going on. BTW, my dealer wants $38.95 for an oil change so IMO it's not worth the hassle of changing myself anyway.
