Default Xenon headlights install

I have the name of a company that makes a xenon headlight upgrade that is supposed to work for the HCH. No cutting of wires required. I wonder if anyone has attempted this and how it has worked out. I have vision issues at night and would like to do this if I have the confidence to try it.

Thanks

Their FAQ says they may or may not be street legal.

It is YOUR job to determine this.

Look at the front of the headlight assembly and if it has HB2 or HB3 (halogen only) on it you cannot use zenon discharge or HID lamps because the reflector will cause too much glare. You will need to purchase a new reflector/headlamp assembly that is specifically made for HID headlamps if one exists for your model vehicle. Hope this helps..

I have it on mine.... It's pretty much plug and play. Do a search on the forum, i've posted some pics up, but not of where i put the ballasts. Basically i put the ballasts behind the front plastic fenders and i have to remove the plastic wheel well to get pictures for that...

And of course because the HCH's housings are NOT made for HID, there is no cut off line for the light, you will have A LOT of glare to oncoming cars.

I got a fix it ticket from a sheriff because he said my lights were illegal since I didn't have the projector housing installed. Funny thing is, he came up from behind me to pull me over to tell me this....
