Default 03 VW Jetta wagon GLS TDI - biodiesel 47mpg avg

I have a deposit on a civic hybrid - it's ready to be picked up - unfortunately, I haven't sold my TDI yet so, if anyone is looking for a second alternative fuel vehicle this is it! I run biodiesel in our wagon.

Here are some photos of our Jetta. If you would like me to email you high resolution photos, I can do so, just let me know which ones.

- Very clean, excellent condition - interior near MINT. I am very fussy
about having a clean car. Door jams are CLEAN, no dust in any crack in the
interior.
- All records kept
- Used biodiesel since second fill-up (B20-B50)
- Kept track of fuel consumption. average 47 mpg city/hwy - highest was 59.5 mpg!!
- Recalls taken care of (heated seat - did burn hole in drivers side -
replaced btm seat)
- New radio around 50k - dealer scratched the radio when fixing a dash
light. I made them put in a brand new factory monsoon - same as before)
- No accidents, No smoking
- Always garage kept
- Always used mild cleaners, none of that shinny armor all stuff, or anything smelly

Other notes:
Small stone Nick on rear drivers side door (see photo)
A few Typical stone chips on hood

Asking $18,800 OBO

Nice car ... wish it were less expensive. (I know, the resale of TDIs inched up the last couple of years) I'm looking for a third TDI as my first was handed down to my daughter at 16, now in med school with the same car, my current is a 2003 Jetta GLS TDI sedan (paid $15,800 in Dec 2003 for a 1 year old Christmas trade-in) has about 90K and I'm planning to hand down to my 17 year old son ... so I'm kind of looking for a replacement. I'd love a wagon and sort of would like to upsize to a Passat TDI Wagon. (would miss the sporty handling of a 5 speed) Keep me posted if your asking price drops a bit.

Hello Rich,

I remember you from biodieselnow - or TDI club if I'm not mistaken. I am very negotiable right now, as my hybrid is actually at the dealership ready for delivery.

I have been getting a lot of interest from CA and new england green states. Compared to what people are asking out there this is a steal! But then they have to figure in flying out/driving and time.

Feel free to give me a call after 12 pm today. 734-765-9392
