Smile For Sale: 2006 Toyota Prius

Hi Folks,

I have a 2006 Toyota Prius for sale.

It is the pale green color and has the following things in it besides the standard stuff:

- Six disk CD/MP3 stereo
- JBL Premium Sound
- Integrated Phone

It also has the controls for navigation on the steering wheel, there just is no nav installed.

The vehicle has a little over 14,000 miles on it and was purchased in 3/2006.

It has Lojack in it and a 6 year 100,000 mile extended warranty that is tranferrable to a new owner.

It has a few dings on the edge of the drivers side front and back door (the driveway in my old house sloped downwards and had concrete & rock walls and I banged the edge of the doors against them a few times).

It has a scratch on the right side mirror cover (someone in a parking lot did it).

It has a couple of minor scratches at the top of the trunk (where I raised the trunk inside the garage and the hatch touched the ceiling).

I have taken it to a few dealers and they all say that the fixes would cost about $100 but of course they want to try to steal the car from me for an extremely low price (so low I expected them to be holding a gun on me).

I am selling it because I moved from Boston to Ohio and now work out of my house so I am hardly driving the car at all (2,000 miles in the last six months). It is a waste to keep a car like this that I am not driving.

The vehicle is located just north of Cincinnati, Ohio (in Maineville).

** Update **

I forgot to put the price in (duh)...

Kelley Blue Book, private party sale, good condition = $20,200
NADA clean trade = $20,400 & clean retail = $23,100

I am asking $20,000 even.

If you are interested, send me an email (bkmaher@gmail.com) and we can discuss things.

Sincerely, Brian Maher

Hi Folks,

Since I've had a bit of interest but the car has not been sold yet I am reducing the price to $18,500. It's a great car that I have no need for since I work at home so grab it while it's still here.

Thanks, Brian

Awww. Too bad the car has been sold already. I've been looking for a Prius for 5 months now. Anyway, don't ya think it is a bit pricey?
