When will the Saturn Vue Hybrid come out? And will it has the Electronic Stability Control system? My son want's one in September when he turn's 16 but I am not going to get him an 07" without Stability Control system. We all love Hybrids, I have a Toyota Highlander Hybrid but thats too expensive to get him but the Vue is affordable for me.

If I remember correctly, the Vue will come back into production (new and improved!) in September.

It speaks volumes when a $26,000 brand new vehicle is considered affordable for a 16 year old, let alone appropriate.

My first vehicle was a 1984 Ford Tempo that was used with 60,000 miles on it. I saved up for two summers and was able to save enough to pay for half while my parents kicked in the other half. At the time - saving towards college was more important than getting a new car.

I guess times have changed. I hope your 16 year old appreciates the gift.
