AshenGrey & Laurie,

I notice that both of you indicate discrepancies based on odometer readings and that both of you are driving Hondas. You may want to check on the recent (within 2 years) settlement Honda made with NHTSA on the inaccuracy of their odometers. They have for some time read "fast", ie - accumulate more mileage than actual.

There may have been some remedy in this for owners. I don't recall whether there was or wasn't.

Peace,

Peace,

thanks for the concern, martin. however, the discrepancies that i am experiencing are with the FCD, which shows real time fuel economy. i find that it reads a little high, but it's not a problem since i figure my actual FE mathematically. it gives me a general idea of where i am and how my driving is affecting my mileage.

i believe the odometer is pretty close to right on from testing it on some longer stretches where i figured the distance through a map plotting website.........

.

Best fill 66.7 MPG, best tank 801.5 miles
