Great time for great mileage! Congrats to all who are driving their GLs efficiently. For nearly 2000 miles now (and counting), we've averaged nearly 31 mpg and that's NO highway--just local country roads and town driving. We're very pleased!

 

Just got my best tank to date! I haven't posted in awhile.
4 hr trip to Spirit Lake and back, stopping every 2 hr for a break. 401 miles, 31.5 mpg!
Pumped!
Got a 9 hr trek to the Black Hills in a week... should get some good #s for that too.

 

Reporting in with a 34.9 mpg trip this weekend. Went 539 miles on the tank, and followed it with two more tanks over 30 mpg (and the current one looks good too).

 

Just reached the 50,000 milestone and set the record for the most miles on a single tank 563.7 miles with an average of 36.26mpg. Even I am impressed with that tank. Still trying for 600 miles on one tank.

 

If it weren't for all these hills around here, I could get better numbers, but so is life!! I'm plenty happy with my mileage!! At least I'm keeping more of my money instead of giving it to the oil barons!! I just dread when we go back to the wretched winter fuel again, mileage numbers plummet then, RATZ!!!

 

Averaging 29-32 most fill-ups. Using only Shell fuel. Other fuels seem to create problems with MPG, at least in my opinion and experience they have.

Sorry your Vue is not performing like it is suppose too. We kind of got the idea of your problem after the first post. Five posts later it may make you feel better but it will not resolve your issue. Following up with the Lemon Law is your correct move and I wish you well.

As for my Hybrid Vue, just past 65,000 miles in 27 months with a lifetime average of 32.3mpg and 69 tanks in a row over 30mph. I have been very happy with it's performance and mpg's in my ownership.

I haven't had mine very long, but I've gotten 27.5 in mixed driving consistently. My best tank was my last with a solid 31 MPG. WhoooHoooo.

 

Milage will also depend on the gas you put into it: here in Michigan, all gas has to have 10% corn ethanol in it (to help the local farmers), that does drop the milage a full 10%. We average about 30 mph here in MI, but will check it on a trip to PA this Summer, using real gas. I was also told by the salesman that the City milage tests assume you are at a dead stop 20% of the time.
