I have a Saturn Vue Hybrid. I am getting 23.8 around town. I expected to get much better.

 

I just got my 3rd set of batteries and I'm on 29,900 miles. This time I got the computer reprogrammed with the recent late 2010 recall. Since then, I've noticed that my mpg is a little lower than it was. The first big thing I noticed is that the engine stop function doesn't work at red lights anymore. Engine runs all the time now.

Anyone else notice changes after the recall reprogramming?

Other than that I'm happy with the vue - getting 28-30mpg regularly with lots of driving between 40-50mph speeds.

My Vue H get 30mpg around town and some hwy. All recalls done and auto stop works at lights. I am quite happy with the performance. Still need a hwy trip to determine mileage for HWY only. I hope it would be around 35 to 40 mpg.

 

I drive fairly carefully with an eye towards economy most of the time. That has resulted in about 28 mpg city (driving the speed limit) and up to 36 mpg hwy (driving 65mph). I have found that a recent change to my commute (more stop and go) in rush hour that I thought would devastate the fuel economy still results in 35 mpg. This is probably because I am limited to about 60 mph but some very hard (full throttle) accels are required from time to time.
