Did anyone catch the new photos from honda in regards to the new Insight dedicated hybrid. Sort of follows the "it looks like a prius" discussion we all had a month back when the spy photos were released...but the car looks great if it is anything near what will hit the streets.

It does look quite good. Thanks for the link.

Interesting that Honda is resurecting the "Insight" name but the article did not mention what kind of fuel economy it's "new" Insight would get. I doubt that it will be near what I currently get with my '04 Insight.
I'd imagine first to go will be the LED headlights and the funky large wheels. The major factor will be the strength of the hybrid system installed, but nice to see Toyota get some price competition...
I agree with Thunder. Doubt the new Insight will get the kind of MPG I've been getting with my '06 Insight. I have nearly 60k and MPG is still above 61. John

I have my 2002 insight at 114K, with an avg mph of 71 overall. in hot summer, I get 88-92 mpg. lifetime mileage is going down since I drive the insight almost exclusively from Rockville, to Frederick weekly.
