Default gm extended warranty

I just realized that my 3/36000 warranty on all parts is up. what are your opinions on buying an extension trough GM. I am not interested in any third party warranties just the gmc extension.
thanks

Default Re: gm extended warranty

I know that the hybrid components are warrantied until 8 years, 100k miles. but it is the other accessories that came built in the car like navigation, heated and cooled seats, a/c, etc that can go wrong that worried me hence decided to purchase the extended warranty that is thru gmpp and covers up to 100k miles bumper to bumper. it covered the nav software update, several actuator replacement and anything down the road and they(the dealer) also provided the cadillac escalade loaner. not bad. but remember that there is a $100 deductible for its service visit. I should have known and would have lump every service in one visit to maximize the repair. with my honda, the extended warranty paid off since, without it, it would have cost me also to replace the actuators(yes) and emission parts, etc. so, worth it imo.
