Default Good deal on an 08? (hate to ask, but not much time to research)

A buddy of mine, at the local GMC dealer, called me up and told me I needed to come see something that just came on the lot. Since I am not familiar with Hybrids...I decided to come here.

Here is the low down:
  • 08 Yukon Hybrid
  • 115000 miles
  • bought at this dealership
  • all service done, on time, at the dealership, so all records are there
  • two door acuators changed out about a year ago
  • traded in at the dealership a few days ago
  • a new 300v battery is being installed
  • a little ding on the side
  • a minor rear-end with minor surface damage that was repaired when it was 3 months old
  • Michellin tires that looked to only have a few 1,000 miles on them
  • I checked the mpg that was stored and it was right at 20mpg (not like that couldn't have been reset right before I drove it though)
  • Only $18,500
KBB, Edmunds, Nada are showing this vehicle going for about $20k+. As any dealer, there has to be some wiggle room in the price, but with a new battery getting put in it...that seems like a steal. I drove it and it drove well. Thoughts on Hybrid specific things I should look at as I inspect it?

You may want to look into affordable third party extended warranty on engine and transmission service. The postings here show more issues with the 2008s.

It's still a steal of a deal. If it has been serviced at the dealership, look at the records and see what the issues where. 110k miles and new battery? What can you ask for more?

Thinking of selling my White 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid with 59,443 miles on it in Charleston, SC. My sister-in-law wants to sell back my old VW Golf TDI, and I have missed getting up to 50 MPG.

$24,500 if anyone is interested.
