Well, It's been a good two years with our Tahoe Hybrid, but the time has come to say goodbye. We've just outgrown it's capabilities and need more towing/hauling ability.
Not too sad though, the transmission was making an awful noise when hot, and the shocks were getting weak (most likely from hauling a car now and then over 300 miles).
I'll wait a while before canceling my registration on here, just in case anyone has any questions I may be able to answer.
BTW, we got a 2010 Ram 2500, 6.7 Cummins with 6spd manual, crew cab, long box.
We got our Tahoe with 34k and change, traded it with just under 60k.
If it weren't for the transmission, I'd have been more willing to wait it out. But we just happened to have one available here in town that met all of my criteria for a pick-up so we figured we'd better jump on it.
Probably going to miss the hybrid at the pump while not towing. I've got a K2500 Suburban with 496 cu inch (8.1). Tows the boat effortlessly. Tows a dump trailer with 3 yards of sharp sand. (12,000 lbs)
