Default Well, it has come to this...

Sadly, my HyHoe is coming home today from the dealer after the third time they have told me that all of the problems that I have shown then multiple videos of and had an independent mechanic verify don't exist.

I am not sure that I continue to feel safe driving the vehicle with the intent that I had purchased it. I have no faith in GM to be able to diagnose and fix it (I have been to two different dealers). I feel that I have to now look to sell/trade in the truck and buy something from another manufacturer since GM no longer sells any SUV that interests me. They abandoned the hybrid pathway and do not offer a diesel in an SUV body.

So, it looks like a German company, VW or MB. Maybe BMW. Sad. I love this truck but the slipping transmission, the balky starts where it ignores the throttle for variable periods of time and then launches itself when it does figure things out, the hybrid starts that sound like marbles in the tranny and finally the rust through on the fender in a vehicle that is highly maintained have worn me out.

I would think that in a time where GM is reeling from bad PR, that they would want to take care of an owner who has been proud of his Tahoe and readily shown it off and talked about it to anyone and everyone. The idea of this truck was revolutionary but it now seems a dead end. I'll be notifying NHTSA about the coughing and surging so that maybe when someone gets hurt there will be a record of it. I already filed about the cruise control that can take off under full throttle under certain circumstances.

Thanks all. Good luck with your HyHoes.

Sorry to hear about your problems. What could have been a great vehicle, in my opinion, has some definite issues. I too am experiencing one myself that I a going to be filing a complaint regarding. Good luck to you !

88k. Trying to figure out what to do. There really isn't a viable option on the market that does everything the HyHoe does. I really haven't been thrilled with dealer support (on my third). I left the initial dealer that I bought it from when they told me they could not work on it one time when it was in because "it's raining and electricity and water don't mix."

Post the name of the shyster that would not work on it because it rained! Then call the 800 number and start a support case directly with the "factory". Let them hear about the rainy day story. There are Field Service Engineers all over this country that can set you up with a way to log data from the diagnostic connector under the steering column.

Not many but some widely disbursed. Data, any data when it happens will help.
