Default 2013 Malibu dropping Hybrid label

As a sales rep for GM and a previous owner of a Chevrolet Malibu Hybrid I can understand GM's decision to drop the Hybrid label from the Malibu and replace with with ECO.

With very few exceptions the Hybrid branding actually hurts sales not helps.

With the New 2013 Malibu having an improved version of the BAS mild hybrid system I beleive by calling it an ECO package customers will be less fearful of adopting the technology.

Hopefully the improved system will see better fuel saving results than the previous Malibu did.

New 2013 Malibu I'm also hoping to see an improving one.
