Question About add-in battery chargers for EVīs

I wonder if somebody has developed an add-in, on board, travelling, battery charger to extend the range of EVīs.

I also wonder if they are based in reciprocating engines, or in turbine engines, that are more able to burn anything and offer cleaner, less maintenance, and lighter solutions.

I FOUND THIS: http://www.prlog.org/11340785-new-lo...facturers.html TAKE A LOOK

during last World War, Phillips had made a Sterling engine based generator. very very quiet and also could burn anytype liquid fuel. Have not seen any recent efficient generators. However a few months ago , Toyota Global had posted that hybrid systems vehicles were used to provide standby utility power with modification of their 3 Kw hybrid systems! I am hoping they can provide this mod to the PRIUS as an aftermarket modification.
