I thought this event deserved to be eternalized as a GreenHybrid announcement. Dan, expert Prius driver, has completed a 967 mile tank on his car, EMAXX, with an average of 85.7 MPG. Congratultions, Dan!

See for yourself at his detailed mileage page. This shows once and for all that the Prius is capable of a 1000 mile tank, as he used just 11.3 gallons of the 11.9 gallon tank. Way to go!

You know what that means...
Gentlepeople, start your motors! The race is on -- not to 1000 miles per hour, but rather to 1000 miles on a tank of cleanish Prius gasoline.

What a great thing to see! I'm jealous. Here I was happy with my 740 mile tank.

WOW... Excellent work. Who says the Prius isn't the best hybrid out there. Speaking of that.. some idiot on Edmunds said the Prius accelerates like a dog. I wonder if that idiot is a poster here??? Hope not!!
