People often talk about the "massively expensive" hydrogen highway. Well fact is most of that highway will be built anyway even if no car ever uses it. The ONLY part that is car centric is the gas station itself. And big oil will have to spend 10x that much just dealing with oil itself.
At some point it simply will be cheaper for them to build out h2 then it is to keep up oil.
