This is very normal....on any given forum the number of active members rarely exceeds 10% of the total.

I'm about to start a general pet forum. What any forum should seek is a large number of active daily members. Building a forum is very difficult until 2-3 dozen members are participating sometime during the day. At that critical mass, growth is comparatively effortless.

I think GreenHybrid is approaching the critical mass as defined above.

That's pretty true. It's been a long pull the past year and a half to get members active. Now, it's much easier to keep things going, but along with it comes an additional need for moderation and lots of people requesting different features I'll take it, any day, though
