On another thread, there was the idea of setting up in holographics an irrestiable terrorist target to depleat all the sucide bombers. Now - a fantasy for holographics on the road.
I'd like a switch on my Insight that would make it appear it was a Bradley Fighting Machine - see the reaction out of the F350 and Hummer drivers go
Flip the switch off just before a patrolman comes by....
I'm dreaming, of course. The technology is not here. If it were, the fuel consumption would make an Abrams Tank seem very fuel-efficient.
And yes - it would absolutely be illegal for individuals to have.
On the other hand, I can see the police using this with great effect on car chases. They could project holographic gridlock in front of a fleeing suspect.
They could make a city seem a lot more patroled than it actually is....
