I kind of did it haphazardly. Basicly breaking the groups up into ranges that I thought fit certain stereotypes. like the first group are pretty much non drivers. The last group are probably not enthusiastic drivers. The second group probably has a propensity for sportier cars but will probably need to buy used. The third group probably likes sports cars and can afford decent ones. The fourth group is probably going to have a family. The fith group is people likely to be empty nesters.
Thats my logic weird as it is. It may or may not be based on any realities.
Well, unless the typical family kicks their kids out of the house at age 8, that is probably too narrow a range.
My wife has commented that in our area of town (upper mid-class residential), most of the Prius drivers she sees are grey haired. So I imagine that your results are going to be skewed by this being an internet forum, which a priori has a younger membership than the population at large.
