Does anyone know how to make a sig under 30kb w/o the quality severely suffering?

If you make it a JPEG, you can tweak the quality option and test various sigs to find one that meets your requirements. GOOD LUCK!

That is how I do it, but the quality becomes so low. Could it have to do with the fact that the original image is 72DPI?
