Default Does anyone know where to get these in the U.S.?

They are air-conditioned seat covers. I have used one before on a long trip with someone else, kept you nice and cool in the heat. He doesn't remember where he bought it from, and I could only find them in the U.K. on various sites ... here is one to show what it is ...

http://uk.bizrate.com/buy/noncat_pro...372481668.html

It is better than the one I used, it only had the bottom cooled ... I think this would be a great assest to those who like to drive with thier a/c off for hypermiling purposes too. It really does a great job at keeping you cool Thanks for any help!

Even if you can't find it through a US distributor, you may still be able to purchase it from UK. Send the dealer an email and tell him what you want and your shipping address. They can come up with a price for you to include conversion and overseas shipping.

Or, contact the UK dealer and ask them if they know of a US distributor.

Maybe the UK companies will do a group buy and ship to the US.

Hi Shaun;

I ordered Accessories from a dealer in Canada and that dealer just gave me the total price for the US Dollars and Shipping Etc. It worked out just fine and was quick.

No-Problems at all. So I cannot see why you cannot order from UK.

HTH;

Terry

Terry, thanks for the boost in confidence about purchasing from out of country

Tom, U.K. is Euro right? then the 17.99 comes out to less than $21 ... the ebay one is 65 incl. s&h ... so as long as the shipping from Europe is less than $54, then it is the same or better. Thanks for the link though!!! I always forget about eBay.

I think a group buy would be awesome if they would do it. I think this is a better option than mounting a fan on the window, using ice water and blotting, etc. or can be used in conjunction. Honestly, I will use the a/c ... and in my other cars I usually freeze the other people in the car ... this would allow me for a more normal in car temp and still keep me as cool as I like. They look nearly identical except for one has gray inlet, the other all black. I will have to look into it when I get some time, a little sad I don't see a brand name for it for me to do more research nor have I found any other examples of it.

Thanks again all.

UK is NOT Euro. They still use pounds.

At the current exchange rate, $17.99 is £31.78.

or do you mean $31.78? otherwise by the example it would cost around $10 for 17.99 pounds . All I knew is it was Lira ... I had forgotten which countries didn't adopt the Euro. One day it will be the Gaia or something like that and we won't deal with conversions.

$32 isn't bad depending on shipping considering I found it at California car cover company for $60 as well.

Thanks for the help
