Talking Finally - A Good Use For A Cadilliac Escalade!

Last night I was drafting behind a tow truck with a black Cadilliac Escalade in the bed. I was doing 60mph and getting 80mpg. As the Escalade commericial goes: "everybody else follows or get out of the way". Hey, they can "lead" like this ALL they want.

.

61.5mpg lifetime - 82mpg in recent months

Just out of curiosity... how close are you to the truck when drafting? Not commenting on saftey just trying to understand how close you need to creep before seeing a drafting benefit.

That is a funny commment by the way

About ten feet, so I'm not sure I got that much of a drafting benefit. I typically don't draft much since it's rare anyone is traveling at my speed.

You definitely have to be close enough behind a truck you can't see around it to get a drafting benefit.
