It would be great if true, but I won't believe it until it's proven. Just goes against everything I've learned.

Remember the hoopla that surrounded the scientists a number of years ago that announced they achieved cold fusion. Anyone hear anything from them or anything new about the process lately? Didn't think so.

Remember our hybrids don't get the EPA mileage, cars can't run on vegetable oil, fuel cell and hydrogen cars are all just myths. Free energy can't be taxed so it isn't suprised that it disappeared under the rug. It will come up again when we are in danger of killling the Earth of some sort.

Um... yes they can. There was even an episode of Myth Busters where they took an old diesel Mercedes and ran it on filtered waste veggie oil, without any modifications.

Is that why you and me are both doing better than EPA ratings?

FCVs aren't myths. I recently read how Ford got their Focus FCV down to a mere $1 million! Chump change, I say!

Hope is like a candle held against the night.
