A few people mentioned on a developer site that they believe the colors on GreenHybrid are not used to their full potential. For instance, the page background is blue instead of green and on the homepage, the colors draw from the gray central information.

As members of the website, what do you think?

Hi Jason:

___I am about as good a designer as a 2 yr. old so I wouldn’t have a clue but if you came up with 3 or 4 sample pages of differing colors, I would be glad to pick one or two from the list?

Haha, guys. Not exactly what I'm asking. I'm not creating mock page designs with different color schemes. I'm asking if anyone has a problem with the current color scheme and its implimentation. Does it distract you from reading? Do the colors look poor together? Is there too much blue instead of green?

Jason,

I thought the color scheme looked great the first time I saw it, and I still do. I wouldn't change a thing. B)

Replacing the blue with a green may be nice.

As I always tell my wife, I don't do colour. I don't find anything distracting or annoying - quite the opposite.

I would be a little concerned with going to a green background though - the blue is dark enough not to conflict much, but I am not sure about the green - unless it was pretty dark.

but - I don't do colours.

Jack

My only problem with the site is that the up-to-top buttons seem to expect a blue background behind them.
