Thumbs up GreenHybrids no-SPAMs

Hi folks,

I want to express my appreciation for Jason, the founder, and the moderator team. For years and years, I've seen forums where flame-wars, trolls and SPAMers have made them all but unusable. I have to admit that such forums lead to a certain amount of 'defensive' habits . . . a sometimes short temper.

GreenHybrid remains not only a island of sanity but good sense. Better still, Jason and his team continue to improve GreenHybrid with the addition of high-lighting recent mileage posters. In my nine months, I've seen the forum and software evolve to be a better and better service.

Finally, I appreciate the folks who come from the transients to the 'usual suspects.' Sure, we're not always going to agree but a civil discourse, a chance to present opinions and gain understanding . . . that is so rare.

So do we have an "AMEN" brothers and sisters?

Bob Wilson

A-men! As a website owner myself (since 1995), I can attest to the amount of work and attention required to maintain a website as vibrant and informative as GreenHybrid.com. An active group of supportive and involved users and moderators make all the difference in the world, as well. So, hats off to the moderators and long-time members here, as well.

Gang

Great post. No, we dont always agree of every issue. But we move on and respect each other.

I also notice too there isnt a bunch of predators snaking around the site trying to sell us phony products to 'improve' our hybrids and MPG . That is great!!!

Thanks from "the gang".

I'm sure Site Admin is a big job but modding is actually pretty easy. We really don't have that many people causing trouble or spamming, knock wood. Sure we get the odd troll or spammer but I'd say more days than not the site runs itself (mod wise).

Members help a lot by alerting us to problems so we can take action. Give yourselves a pat on the back!

BTW PM is better than e-mail if you want get a hold of me quickly.
