I agree 100%. The problem is it's a cycle that has to be broken. If your parents weren't really concerned there's a chance that you might not either. Then if you have children and don't teach them importance then they might not either.

It's one of those things that's easier than said to try and change your lifestyle. When you become accustomed to a way of life and then try and change it's not easy, especially when not both people in a marriage want the change.
