When I made these comments on a RAV4-EV forum a lot of people got upset with me. There are many people who are so enamored of their EVs that they are not very objective about their shortcomings.

In all reality I do not have any problems with EV vehicles. The real problem I have is there is a lot of people that think its the endall saveall and brag about how great it is and act like its brand new technology, but it isn't its old tried and given up on for a while then they forget and they bring it back.. But most decide not to pass on the specific details on the EVs short comings. That others may look at it under thier own objectiveness and decide for themselves if it is right for them. Instead of jumping on the band wagon of hype and excitement and living the pipe dream (i'll hear it for this statement) only to realize there are pro's & cons to this technology as with the other technology....
