Politics under our current tax system is ruled by lobbyists all trying to get their client a better tax deal while the rest of us pay the price.

This is not Democrat vs. Republican vs. what-ever. It's about returning the power of Government back to the people.
Although the Fair Tax isn't perfect, it sure beats the more than 60,000 pages of the current tax code which nobody knows how to interpret.
