Default Ford's website?

Does anyone register on http://myford.fordvehicles.com and is it good for anything? I don't see much there. There's nothing FEH specific.

I'm registered but I haven't found much use there either. I hope that it will be helpful if there is ever a recall.

I just went back in and looked. It does have a nice feature called service log that gives you a record of dealer performed service (and you can put in records of your own too).

It may be more useful if you're using Ford Credit (but I'm not so I can't tell).

I am using it for Ford bill pay, service log, maintenance schedule, recall info., mileage tracking, and service specials. When I registered my escape it suggested 5000 miles (severe driving conditions)for oil changes so I'm using that schedule and plan to use online service scheduling. I now have 2500 miles so I half way to a oil change, should be sometime in April since I don't rack up too many miles.

I use it mainly for the owner's manual reference. The book needs to be in the car at all times and having the online version saves me from having to go out and get it if I need to check something out. I also like the service log. It leaves no doubt that the vehicle has been properly serviced, without having to produce a bunch of paperwork.

I bought a used 2005 FEH and tried several times to register it on the website. Interestingly, it found and imported my existing name and address info which I have on the Mercury owners' website where I have an older Mercury Villager registered. However, I was forced to call Ford Customer Service, finally getting through menu-hell to a live body and then he was able to register me, many times asking the same questions I had answered on the web. He said he had to clear out the previous registered owner data. But in short, other than quickly looking up my local dealer's phone number, it hasn't been much real help.
