I was on a business trip last week and everyone knows where you go at night during a business trip....

So, I was pulling into the parking lot of the downtown "Gentleman's Club" and the guy collecting the $10 for parking saw that the Escape is a hybrid and just started going on about how great that is, thanking me, all cars should be hybrid, global warming, etc. etc. Then he let me park for free. Even told me he would keep an eye on it. Wouldn't take a tip, either. I've seen it all.....

It's getting easier being green all the time.....

 

Kind of a fun (and funny) story. Thanks for sharing. When parking lot attendants are encouraging people to go green, it's an encouraging sign. Now, if we can get taxi drivers and bus companies and parking lot owners all hyped on the hybrid idea, think how much money and gas we could save...

Free parking is not much of a benefit. Now if one of the "ladies" in the Gentlemen's Club gave you a free lap dance because you drive a Hybrid Escape, that would be something to talk about.

 

Yes, you could run right home and tell your S.O. how much money you saved!!

Not to mention letting your boss know how your intelligent choice of motor vehicles is helping the company save money on "travel" expenses.
