I noticed several '08 FEHs on Ebay and this one caught my eye because A) It's new and B) It's at no reserve. The high bid was only $21000 when I saw it. For those struggling to locate one, this might be worth a shot if you're "ready to buy now" so to speak.

It's a Tungsten Gray FWD w/premium package and Nav and side steps. No chrome package and no moonroof/sat radio. Retail would be a little over $31,200 and invoice should be within a hundred bucks of $29000. It does have the steering wheel controls and the VIN is in the C series so it was built in the last month or two.

I just bought my 4WD FEH in November, yet it didn't have the radio steering wheel controls. Is this something Ford just figured out how to do? And if so, when was it added? Does the 4WD interfere and make it more difficult to add? Or do some of the other features I have (like moonroof, heated seats, etc.) make the electronics so convoluted that it's difficult to add another feature? I'm just curious as to why this FWD FEH has them, yet mine, probably made around the same time, did not.

 

Yea, for those that can't fine one, it seems there's a new one about once a week listed. There was an Ice Blue in Sacramento listed for a couple of weeks. The mide west seems to post most often. Strangely I've never seen a red on listed


I thought $31 msrp was way off as mine was only $28.4 w/o nav & side steps plus moon/sisius & chrome. Guess it's about $1400 more now than last year Expensive steering wheel!

added: Oh and a week or 2 ago there was a white one with like $10k (??) miles, wrecked, would not start, needed potential major front end repair, still sold for like $12-15k!


Sure NOW a dealr down the road from me has like 10 in stock! But still love mine! Wouldn't trade it for a new one, even if it does have steering wheel volume.
