Would like to know if any of you had problems geting your $545.00 bonus cash on 08 FEH.

We drove off the lot 6-30-07.

The bonus cash was to be good till 7-2-07.

We have had to get Ford Corp. to contact the dealership as they have not responded to my request for the bonus cash.

 

My vehicle hasn't delivered yet, but my sales order did include the rebate. No problems getting it here.

 

Are you saying that the dealer didn't take the 545.00 off at the time of sale?

 

Yes.

They did not take it off.
They took the $500.00 rebate off but did not take the $545.00 bonus cash off.

 

Ok, I thought that was the only way you could get it, if they took it off there. I remember signing a rebate paper at the dealership (they did take both the 500 bring your own cash and the 545 rebate off my bottom line price). Maybe that paper allowed the dealer to get the rebate back directly to them. I would say as long as you have your sales purchase agreement dated before 07/02/07, and you didn't sign the same form I did, you most likely will get the rebate.
(my truck came in AFTER 07/02, but the dealer took the rebate off the price and my salesman told me he had to eat it... but you know salesmen!) I still signed the paper.

The rebate must have been extended. Edmunds.com shows the $500 "cash to customer" going until 7/31.

I don't see the $545 rebate anymore - I checked this morning and they showed that one going from 7/2 to 7/31. Not sure what happened to that one - it disappeared.

 

Does any one have the ford rebate # for the bonus cash that was to be good till 7-2-07?

Heard from the dealer today 7-14-07.

Said on vaction last week will have a responce by noon Monday.

Don't forget that sometimes there is special financing, too, and that you usually don't get the bonus cash if you use the special financing. Could that be it?

Whenever I've bought a vehicle with a rebate, there's a form I signed and it was always applied to the deal, like this

Price
(minus trade if applicable)
plus taxes and fees
minus down payment
minus rebate
equals amount due in cash or from financing
