smash and grab
i had the unfortunate experience of a vehicle break-in this past weekend, and among the many things stolen were my nav cds. anyone had any experience replacing these? my sales guy at the dealership had no idea and was waiting for a call back on replacements.

Re: smash and grab
thanks for the offers of disks i will keep those in mind, but i'll probably end up ordering a new set tho. i'm rather agitated with my insurance company at the moment since they told me my home owners policy won't cover the (music) cds that were stolen. having a permanently installed cd player in the vehicle creates additional risk, so therefore they won't cover them (stupid cop out!). the other items stolen (coat, gloves, dvds) don't meet my $500 deductible so i can't really even file a claim now. the nav cds are covered on the auto insurance side so i'm hitting them up for all the charges.
i'm getting my window replaced this afternoon and i'm hoping there's no glass trapped in the 6-cd changer. i've also got scratches/tears to the leather seat and door, and well as a paint chip (down to the metal) on the outside.
another side note...the police officer who wrote up my report didn't seem to know what a hybrid was and had to ask me how to spell it

Re: smash and grab
A number of years ago I had a cell phone stolen in the same manner at Burdines in a covered parking lot. They gave me an $800 credit in the store. Same thing with glass and leather seat. Animals!
