If you don't have a TPMS on your spare and you rotate it in.... won't you still have the alarm go off. I thought the things don't transmit unless the tire is in rotation so the one "stowed" with the TPMS would not transmitt and you'd still get a warning?

I've seen some 05 rims on "special" for $50ish. Thinkning of getting one of those, even tho it's not a match, it is full size.

My rim only cost me $50. But I bought my rim back and that was the core charge - long story.

The company the body shop used was Keystone Auto ( http://www.keystone-auto.com/ ) That company sells reconditioned rims for $179 (according to my estimate and repair bill). Plus Ford sent me a flier stating the EcoPlus tire was around $103.00.
The replacement rim was purchased through KeyStone Auto.

Now I just need to get a tire, but may wait until I need to replace the 4 original tires.
