Is there any one order FEH in Canada? How long it takes get one? I order one in mid OCt.Seales told me the around MAY,2008.

 

Hi:

I ordered mine (base model) on August 30, 2007 from a dealership in Ottawa, ON.

I was quoted approx. 12+ weeks delivery by my salesman, but was warned that the FEH were in high demand & that it could take until the end of the year.

When I telephoned the dealership this morning, I was given good news -- they gave me the VIN and the estimated delivery date of January 14th -- not in time for Christmas, but hopefully can take advantage of the 1% reduction in GST.

Therefore, total time = 19 1/2 weeks about 4 1/2 months if it arrives on the 14th of January.

Now, off to blueovalforums to ask someone to track my order.

 

I placed my order in early November and I was told that it will likely be "spring". In my mind that means April - but I have my doubts.

 

I got worried they were getting scarce around here Victoria/Vancouver back in July when I decided to buy one. I called all dealerships I could find on Vancouver Island and couldn't find any FEH. I then searched Vancouver dealerships online and found two at the same dealership and bought one of them. I did a bunch of other online searching and found almost no FEH available in BC. Just now searching the dealership I bought from turns up none.

 

When I picked mine up a couple of months ago, the dealer told me that Ford is not accepting any dealer stock orders for FEH's until they catch up on the customer factory orders. The only way you can get one for a while (unless there is one somewhere that has managed to sit on the lot for that long) is to order one from the factory.

 

Not very recent experience but I'll share it....

If I recall correctly, I ordered mine at the beginning of November 2005 and it came around the first of February 2006.
