Tire rotations

Are the tires to be only rotated every 10K miles with the scheduled maintenance or should they be 5K miles?

I'm pretty sure the book says 5000. Nothing about it being a hybrid changes that. Could you go 10000..... heck I know some people who've never rotated tires on their vehicles--but I don't recommend that action.
