Will this be a solution to my IMA battery failure?
Took the car I have a 2007 Honda Civic Hybrid. Honda updated it for me and said that it was under warranty and they were going to order the part and call us when it arrived. They never called, we called and they said it actually wasn't under warranty. It expired a few months ago.ugh. Anyway, after the update the light dispeared but came back on New Years Eve.
They said battery will be $2500 to $3500.
I read about re reconditioning the battery
IMA Battery Grid Chargerhelp? I found a new one for under $800.
I read about cells and sticks etc. I have limited knowledge on all of this and want it fixed..
Where can I buy a new battery?
I found this also:
http://dormanproducts.com/p-66718-58...ELECTRIC%2FGAS
I don't know what to do
I want to fix the battery before selling it..

Dorman is one of the largest aftermarket auto parts suppliers in the country. They make a LOT of OEM style parts that would normally come from a dealer and are known for being a good product for the money. Don't know about the other options for a Honda but a Dorman pack should be good to go.

Not sure about the others you have noted as I drive a Toyota and they don't seem to have the problems that Honda IMA systems have with batteries. I just happen to use a lot of Dorman products for switches, regulators, trim retainers, etc and know they sell a quality product.
